Life is So Good

This memoir by George Dawson was an early pick of Sarah's. It is an inspiring saga of a descendant of slaves living in segregated Marshall, Texas. He somehow managed to have an optimistic view of life and people, despite what he was subjected to every day. I really enjoy this one, what did you think?

In my opinion one of the best books we've read. I loved that he chose a positive attitude although his life was rough. Great life lessons in this book.
