This now-classic book by Khaled Hosseini was at difficult to read in parts, but ultimately a very rewarding experience. It's now become a Book Club cliche and a movie. I haven't see the film myself but remain fond of the book. What do you all think?

Yea! One that I read. I really liked this book. It gives me hope that so many others did too. At least it was an glimpse into a world Americans don't see very often and a sympathetic one at that. I remember it left me wanting to know more about Afghanistan and flying kites.
